UMCC offers a wide
selection of unidirectional and bi-directional couplers covering
frequencies from 10 KHz to 18 GHz. These couplers are available from
narrow bands to multi decade bandwidths with all coupling levels of 6, 10,
16, 20, and 30dB values. Many couplers are available with standard
connectors (SMA, BNC, N, others).
UMCC low frequency dividers
(10 KHz to about 1 GHz) are of lumped-element construction, where ferrite
elements are used in coupler circuitry. UMCC low frequency couplers
cover mainly wide bands of two to three decades.
UMCC high frequency
couplers (0.5 to 18 GHz) are of distributed element construction.
Stripline transmission lines are etched monolithically on a Teflon base
medium creating impedance transformation and the coupling function.
UMCC high frequency dividers are offered from narrow bands of one octave
to multi octave bandwidths.
UMCC offers a limited
series of a very unique semi lumped element couplers in frequency range of
20 MHz to 3 GHz. These series cover a wide bandwidth of two to three
decades. Their construction is a combination of lumped-element
ferrite component with distributed element transmission lines.
