  RF/Electronics Test Technician

Job Description:
The primary responsibility is to testing, tuning, recording data, and trouble shooting RF/Microwave components. To work with a variety of test equipments such as power supplies, oscilloscope, pulse generator, network analyzers, spectrum analyzer, and DMM. Product preparation/finishing work such as fastening covers/connectors, drilling, tapping, grinding, sanding, and other cosmetic work needed to move products through production steps.

 

  Skills and Requirements:
> Good eye-hand coordination and physical dexterity is a must
> Capable of reading, writing, and communicating in English
> Must have a basic knowledge of electronics circuitry (Analog & Digital)
> Reading/Understanding electronic schematics and assembly prints

> Proficiency in soldering techniques in accordance with IPC-610 or equivalent

> Good craftsmanship, and capability to use a variety of tools such as
tweezers, Exacto knife, and similar
> Ability to work on miniature microelectronic circuitry under stereo microscope and other optical instruments
> Having a production oriented mind and attitude; and capable of handling repetitive work while adhering to exacting specifications and tolerances.
> Self-initiative with problem solving attitude is a must
> Capable of working independently and responsibly
> Ability to multitask, performing different jobs, duties and tasks on a daily basis
> Most importantly: "having a good work ethics" ; "be pleasant to work with" ; "be easy to approach" ; and "having a goal oriented personality"
 
  Academic Education and Qualifications:
> At a Minimum, a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
> Certification from a recognized and relevant electronic training school is a plus
> Permanent Residency --or-- US citizenship required.
 
  Needed Work Experience:
> Candidates applying for an "Entry Level" position must have at least a 1-2 years hands-on experience with testing, troubleshooting, and alignment down to the component level in a related electronic field.
> Candidates applying as "Experienced" must have an average of 3-5 years hands-on experience in testing, tuning, and trouble shooting of RF/Microwave components with good knowledge of test equipments and measurement skills.
 
 

Employee Benefits:
Full Time (40 hours/week); Monday-Friday (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM); Flexible Launch Hours ; Morning/Afternoon 15min break times (Company Paid) <> Yearly base earning of $43K ~ $56K depending on level of experience, skill, and education. <> Company Benefits: Kaiser medical insurance (company pays 50%); Yearly Paid 6 major holidays + Vacation time + 3 sick Days, and 2 personal days.
